I got a 12 piece dark meat, six thighs and six legs, for four people. It came with two family sides. I got cole slaw and potato salad. The sides were delicious, seasoned well. Six biscuits were included and were a great pairing with the chicken.
Greeted upon entering the restaurant. That is always a plus to be acknowledged as a guest. They have a kiosk ordering system inside which was user friendly. An employee was also available and asked if we needed any help. After placing our order we seated ourselves. Shortly they called our order. I was not a long wait especially for hot food. I had the wings with the regular spicy sauce. It added flavor but not very hot and I still enjoyed my meal. Next time I visit I will try the next level of sauce. Overall, we enjoyed Uncle Lou's. Excellent food and excellent service is always a winning combination for success!
We visited Uncle’s Lou’s after seeing the place in Guy Fieri’s tv show, we were not disappointed. We ordered their chicken tenderloin strips and really loved them, their biscuits were fluffy and buttery, delicious. The place is very clean, staff quite friendly and their prices very reasonable. We certainly will be back.
If there’s one thing that the south is known for besides bbq, it fried chicken. Besides the chain stores and gas stations there are few chicken restaurants. This might be the top one, neck and neck with Gus’s. Well worth the drive. Uncle Lou was out in the dining area telling stories and checking on customers. I’d come back in a heartbeat.
This like one of the staples in Memphis.good food great vibes just change locations tho but it's love the biscuits with the glazed honey or what eva sauce they use be bussing. This AINT NO POPEYES BUSCUIT.

There's no way I can pass through Memphis without stopping for some Uncle Lou's chicken! As always, cooked and seasoned to perfection at a nice new facility! The food came quickly and was nice and hot. The staff was very friendly, but I found the Kiosk ordering system to be cumbersome. It was confusing and didn't really pass the vibe check. You know you got a winner if the seasoning is chained to the table!
